I understand the juggling act. As a woman in the sandwich generation, navigating career, life, kids, grandbabies, and perhaps even caring for elderly parents, the struggle is real.
Like many of you, growing up in a small town in the 70s & 80s, I pride myself on the scrappy resourcefulness that came with being a part of the latch-key kid generation – we drank from garden hoses, came home at dark, and learned to rely on ourselves and each other.
